盛りを過ぎて散る儚さや無常感。季節の移ろい。散る様子の優雅さ。落ちて地に彩を添える余韻。そんな動きや趣きをかたどりました。 和装やドレッシーな装いだけでなく、シンプルな装いにも。
布製のため、長時間の着用でも耳への負担が少ないのも嬉しいポイントです。 ✤ これまで、汚れやすさを考え、肌に直接触れる耳飾りやネックレスの制作は、積極的に行ってきませんでした。 それでも、布製アクセサリーの軽さと、絹の上質な艶には、大人のアクセサリーとしての魅力があります。私のつまみ細工の特徴である大きめの花弁なら、その美しさを最大限に活かせるはず。そこに、お客様からいただいた「もっと大きく、長く、たくさんにして欲しい」というご提案が重なり、『落花』が生まれました。 布の風合いを楽しむ方へ。

Made from fabric, the earrings are lightweight and comfortable to wear even for extended periods. ✤ Until now, I have intentionally held back from making earrings and necklaces because of the challenges of creating fabric accessories that come into direct contact with the skin. Even so, the lightness of fabric accessories and the refined sheen of silk have a special appeal for sophisticated jewelry. I felt that the large petals characteristic of my tsumami-zaiku would bring out that beauty to its fullest. Then a customer suggested, “Make them bigger, longer, and more numerous.” That suggestion became the deciding moment that brought Falling Petals to life. For those who enjoy the texture of fabric.
